Lieberman on the President comparing Obama and Democrats to Nazi-appeasers: Bush was correct

when i heard this rant from president bush in which he compared barack obama and the democrats to the nazi appeasers of the 1930s, i became sick to my stomach: some seem to believe we should obtain with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will convert them they set up been oppress all along. we have heard this foolish delusion before. as nazi tanks crossed into poland in 1939, an american senator declared: “lord, if only i could have talked to hitler, all of this might be dressed been avoided.” we accept an obligation to bellow this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history. when i heard this latest load of crap from our younger senator agreeing with the president’s statement i threw up a midget bit in my mouth. delivering an address before the israeli knesset today, president bush said that sen. barack obama (d-il) and democrats favor a principles of appeasement toward terrorists.

Obama quickly responding, criticizing Bush for using the “60th anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack.” As MSNBC reported, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT), a strong supporter of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), has also now issued a statement, saying that he wholeheartedly agrees with Bush’s comments:

president bush got it exactly right today when he warned on touching the threat of iran and its terrorist proxies with hamas and hezbollah. it is dictatorial that we reject the flawed and na?ve thinking that denies or dismisses the words of extremists and terrorists when they cry out “death to america” and “death to israel,” and that holds that - if only we were to settle down and debate with these killers - they would cease to threaten us. it is critical to our public security that our commander-in-chief is able to distinguish between america’s friends and america’s enemies, and not confuse the two. i’m make this simple…this is complete bullshit.

For a President to use the 60th anniversary of the state of Israel to make this type of inflammatory statement about Barack Obama and the Democratic Party from the Knessett is more than outrageous, it’s downright disgraceful and inexcusible.

As for criticizing Lieberman, where are the statements from Connecticut’s Democratic Leadership chastising Holy Joe’s remarks? In my opinion, their silence speaks volumes and we can not let this nonsense from Lieberman go unanswered.

Get our Democratic leadership on the record and ask them how they feel about the latest rant from Holy Joe in which he agrees with the analysis of comparing the Democratic Party to Nazi-appeasers.
